Rawlings International Salute to Baseball
International Baseball Tournament Opportunity
Rawlings Baseball and The Atlanta Braves are offering a few teams the opportunity to compete in an international baseball
tournament July 8th - July 14th, 2012. The games will be played at the Atlanta Braves Spring Training facility in Florida. North Texas Xpress has the opportunity to
take a team to the tournament. The team will compete in the 16U age bracket and be made up of players from High Schools and youth baseball organizations from across the North
Texas area.
This is the opportunity of a lifetime for youth baseball players. Some of the countries these teams will be facing are Venezuela, Mexico, Dominican Republic,
Puerto Rico and others. It is a baseball intensive week of tournament play. The opportunity to play different countries, mingle with different cultures and forge friendships
throughout the world, through baseball, doesn't come about very often and should not be missed.
We are not recruiting ball players or asking you to play anything other than this tournament. Your spring game/tournament schedules will not be interfered with.
TRYOUTS: Individual try outs will be by request only. Call Clark for times.
Players must be age 16 and under on May 1, 2011. If they turn 17 on May 2, 2011 or after they are okay to play.

There are only a few teams representing the U.S. We want to be competitive, while at the same time providing a once in a lifetime experience to some higher-level ball players to play teams from other countries.
The players who make these teams will also get a pass to Disney World, while we are there. Understand, it is baseball first and Disney second. Come with your best game to evaluations.
